Welcome to the 49er UK Class Association website

The 49er is the iconic Olympic two-handed high-performance skiff. The UK has some of the world's top sailors in this class and also a flourishing domestic scene, with open meetings, National Rankers and an International race calendar. Since the change of rig in 2009, we have seen a lease of life in the class with original rig boats for sale for less than you might imagine, there has never been a better time to get into 49er sailing.
